Superyacht design, from the first line to the shipyard.

Exterior and interior design for new builds and refits, 65 metres and above. The drawings, the general arrangement, the specification and the visuals all come from the studio.

Exterior design

The profile, the decks and the way a yacht meets the water. Exteriors are drawn on a real naval architecture platform, so proportion and buildability are settled together.

Interior design

Owner's suite, guest areas, spa, beach club and crew spaces, designed as one yacht. Materials, joinery and lighting are specified for life at sea, not for a photograph.

Refit

New interiors and exterior changes for yachts in service, planned around the yard period and the season. Most recently Sweet Maryi, 52 metres, in Athens.

From design to build

New builds are carried out in partnership with Astra Nord. Design by Theodoros Fotiadis, validated by Astra Nord: a single line of responsibility from the first sketch to the sea trials.

How a design becomes a yacht.

Each step is agreed before the next begins. What we agree is what we build.

  1. A first conversation

How the yacht will be used, where she will travel, and by whom. Nothing is drawn yet, and nothing should be.

  2. General arrangement and specification

Every deck drawn to scale: owner and guest areas, crew circulation, service routes, tenders and toys. This is the platform everything else is drawn on.

  3. Exterior design

Hull profile, proportion and deck layouts, developed on the arrangement rather than against it.

  4. Interior design

Mood, materials, joinery and lighting, drawn through to production drawings with the people who will build them.

  5. Validation

Hull form, weight distribution, stability and tank testing with independent naval architects and engineers, cross-checked against Astra Nord standards.

  6. Build and delivery

Design presence at the yard through construction and sea trials, so the yacht delivered is the yacht that was drawn.

Questions owners ask

How we approach design, how a concept becomes buildable, which yards we work with, and what happens in the first meeting.

Documentation

General arrangements, specifications and renderings, sent from the studio rather than downloaded.

Every great yacht begins with a conversation.

If you are considering a new build or a refit of 65 metres and above, I would like to hear from you.
