A trimaran, for those who go far.
Spear is a 140-metre high-performance trimaran, designed by T. Fotiadis and engineered with Lateral Naval Architects. Three hulls give her stability and seakeeping that a monohull of her length cannot offer, and around 40 per cent less fuel than a conventional 100-metre monohull, according to the design studies.
Twenty-one knots at the top, eighteen at cruise, and 7,500 nautical miles between ports. The engineering groundwork is done; Spear is ready to take an owner's brief. Her route to build is Astra Nord.
